Cody Daugherty has been on staff at Discover Hope 517 since May of 2020, after previously serving as a volunteer and participant of the ministry for 5 years. Cody and His wife, Katie, reside in Newton with their two sons, Cooper, and Cade. In 2020, Cody earned a Bachelor of Applied Studies degree from the University of Iowa, double majoring in Human Relations and Just Studies. Cody was ordained as an Elder by the Reformed Churches of American in 2018. He also serves as a worship leader at this home church, Newton Church of The Way.

Kelsey Miranda has been on staff at Discover Hope 517 since October of 2021. after previously volunteering since August of 2020. Kelsey and her Husband, Mike, reside in Newton with their 3 children, Taylor, Abby and Michael. Kelsey graduated from Newton Senior High School in 2005, and earned her Associates degree in December of 2010 from DMACC in Newton. She loves to be involved at her home Church, The Way, by being on the prayer and tech team.

Brad Hendrickson came on staff in June of 2022. His wife Brenda and him live in Batavia and they attend Church services at FCOC. They are prayer captians at their Church, help with alter care and serve the 5th and 6th grade youth. Brad also works in the Fairfield School distruct with the behavior program. Brad also partners with the Treehouse Ministry to serve and bring hope to teens in their communitiy.

Katrina is 30 years old, lives in Newton with her 5 Children, Clayton, Brailynn, Jace, Adaline, and Abel. Katrina graduated in 2010 in Newton, IA. Her and her family attend Christian Life Church in Newton. In her free time, she likes to spend quite time with Jesus, spend time with her kids and do photography.
Robbie Robinson is a man after God’s own heart! He is married to Emily Robinson and they have 6 children together. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Discover Hope 517 Ministry and Pastor of New Creation Church in Newton, IA. He loves being loud and spending time with his family. He enjoys weightlifting and playing basketball. In his spare time, he loves to sit with the Lord! Sharing the gospel message is his heartbeat!

Josh has served at Discover Hope for the last few years in multiple ways including being a Board Member. Josh and his wife, Teresa , have lived in Newton for the last 23 years with their two children. Josh is an engineer at Vermeer Corporate in Pella. Josh serves at Community Heights Alliance Church in Newton through Prison Fellowship Ministry at the Newton Correctional Facility as well as the Newton Christian School. Josh is blessed to be apart of Discover Hope.

Mitch is the current treasurer on the Discover Hope board. Outside of the board, Mitch is a jeweler at The Jewelers Bench. Mitch is a Newton native and is married to his high school sweetheart. His purpose on the DH board is to help Robbie reach his BHAGs (big hairy audacious goals). With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
